“Take My Picture” Garage Magazine Investigate Streetstyle Photography

“Take My Picture” Garage Magazine Investigate Streetstyle Photography

Streetstyle – Love it or hate it,  has become the formidable force within the fashion industry today. Creating books, jobs and personalties. I, for what its worth, pretty much look at it as an opportunity, for those with a sense of style to ger their wanted attention and hustle on throughout the blogosphere. However, regardless working in this industry, my take on fashion has always been rather laid back in comparison to what I like to call the ‘Grandmaster Editors’ Some of which has been pretty vocal about the spectacle of street style. Commenting on the influence of bloggers and the shift in prorities – whos watching the runway when everyone is outside posing?

With many arguments flying around, Garage Magazine have made a film entitled called “Take My Picture” which raises some pretty valid points regarding the hype surrounding Streetstyle. I’m going to bow out of this one, being snapped once or twice without any complaints. But I will say Tim Blanks is the man! Click to watch. Read More.
